Finished!!

I have finished the first draft of the book!!

Yes, I realize there will be editing and rewriting to do. But the rough draft is complete! I was amazed at how quickly it came together after all my false starts. When God calls you to something, He really does provide!

Now I must take a step into the unknown. . . I know nothing about publishing. If you have a suggestion, I would love to hear from you.

New Year's Declarations

As others are making New Year’s resolutions, I am making New Year’s declarations.

Declarations speak the promises of God as fact in our lives, no matter how things look or feel. Speaking declarations is how we partner with the will of God to see change our lives.

Freedom to Praise

I would love it if I could read the Word of God in its original language.  Every detail, every name, every number, is written for our learning.  And so much is lost in the translation.  For example, these verses on healing in Acts are actually a lesson on living a praise-filled life.

The notes in The Passion translation point out that the name of the town where Peter is ministering, Lydda, means “strife.”  And the healed man’s name, Aneneas, means “praise.”  So, this man named “Praise” is living in a place called “Strife . . .
