He heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3
Susan called our prayer ministry in a panic! The pandemic had her feeling anxious and depressed. She didn’t have the courage to leave her apartment. So, she sat alone with her spiraling thoughts all day long. Yikes!
Susan’s story is common. Freedom from fear, anxiety and depression has been the most requested prayer for over a year now.
We tend to put greater emphasis on physical healings, but God does not. God heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds. He knows that only when we are healed on the inside will we be able to endure the pressures on the outside.
He binds up our old wounds so they can heal into scars of His faithfulness in our lives. God pours the balm of Gilead upon our broken hearts, so we are healed enough to receive His love and let it overflow to others.
Perhaps we cannot see these healings with our eyes because they are deep and profound. Yet God is bringing wholeness and freedom to His body, one precious child at a time.
You will be glad to hear that Susan no longer lives in a panic. She is pressing into Jesus and trusting God for her future.
How about you? Do you need God’s healing balm on the wounds in your heart? It is yours for the asking!
Healing, deliverance, and salvation are God’s free gift for trusting in Jesus Christ. Declare your faith and trust in Jesus. Open your heart to receive all that God has for you. Then ask. Ask God to heal your broken heart and bind up your wounds. God is longing for you to ask. He is waiting on high to be gracious to you (Is. 30:18). So, ask. Soon, you will be walking in freedom and victory! Amen!
