I have narrowed all the promises of God down to 8, the number of new beginnings. In this new year of new beginnings, I plan to declare these promises over myself, my family, and the whole body of Christ. If you like my list, I encourage you to print it off and join me. Better yet, make your own list of declarations for the new year.
1- Renewed Joy in Him
I declare that we will find renewed joy, celebration, and song in knowing Jesus. We are confident in His love for us, and His victory in our lives. I declare that we will sense God upon us and all around us bringing us fresh excitement about spiritual things.
2- God’s Presence
I declare we will experience the tangible presence of God in our body, soul, and spirit. We ask, Father, that You touch us in unusual and supernatural ways. I declare we will respond to your touch and manifest Your Kingdom here on the earth.
3- New Identity in Christ
I declare we are new in Christ Jesus; the old is gone and the new has come. I declare the new person God has created us to be will shine brightly and attract others to rejoice in Him.
4- Rise up in Authority and Dominion
I declare that we will take our delegated authority in Christ to rule and reign on His behalf. We will boldly use the power Christ gave us over the dominion of darkness.
5- Increased Revelation and Insight
I declare that our spiritual ears are open. Father, we ask for increased revelation, wisdom, and prophetic insight. I declare our prophetic spirits are in tune with Your Holy Spirit so that we hear Your voice and speak Your words.
6- Signs and Wonders will Follow
I declare that we will operate in the supernatural of God, and that signs and wonders will follow those who believe.
7- Divine Appointments
Thank You, Father, for opening doors of influence for Your Kingdom. I declare we will seek and walk through the doors You open for us.
8- Come, Lord Jesus, Come!
I declare we are a prepared bride, with our lamps full of oil, eagerly awaiting our Beloved Bridegroom God. I declare joy and excitement as we anticipate His glorious second coming. Come, Lord Jesus, Come!
