God has me writing a series of pictures books featuring preschoolers who hear and obey God. The idea is to normalize God’s supernatural for ages 4-6.
One book in the series has five-year old Sarah using her authority in Jesus to cast out the demon of fear. In another, four-year old Daniel overcomes his shyness by practicing his “heavenly language.” God warns Jojo in a dream, and he saves the day. Zoey is thrilled that Jesus healed through her tiny hands.
Twelve such books are planned with a Parent/Teacher page at the back with questions and activations. Would you love these books for your children or grandchildren?
I met an agent at the conference who said she would ask a couple of Christian publishers to see if they would take on the project. She was not too hopeful. But I am not discouraged. I have placed these books on the altar. Let’s see what God does with them.
