I wore silver wings and a halo yesterday. The preschoolers love it!
God called me to write a series of picture books for ages 4-6 that normalize His supernatural. God is always speaking to us through His Holy Spirit . . . even to little children. In fact, children are more open to seeing angels, having dreams and seeing visions, etc. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if they grew up believing it is normal to hear the voice of God?
To that end, each of the books in my series has small children hearing from God in various ways. The adults in my books encourage (not ignore or minimize) the children’s interactions with God.
There are 10 books in the series, and I have a least a rough draft for half of the books. I have hired a professional editor to make sure they are ready. I will be looking for an agent to represent the books.
This is why I dressed as an angel. I wanted to “try out” my stories on some actual preschoolers. The moment I walked into the classroom, Jason exclaimed, “You look like an angel of God!”
I am delighted to report that the preschoolers were attentive and engaged. And they loved my wings!
Because the goal is to normalize God’s supernatural, I cannot self-publish this time. I need a main-stream Christian publisher to provide the maximum marketing exposure.
Friends, is this project exciting to you? Would you love to see these books in print for your children or grandchildren? If so, please do one or both of the following:
1) Subscribe to my blog if you haven’t already. Invite your friends to subscribe. The larger my “audience” the more attractive that makes my books to a traditional publisher.
2) Pray for the project. I am putting together a list of intercessors who will get month updates with specific prayer points. Please contact me if you can commit to one year of prayer.
Thank you in advance for your prayer and support. May God bless you and yours!
