Seeing Angels

Book Review of

Seeing Angels

By Joshua Mills

Published by Whitaker House

Twenty or more Healing Room volunteers crowded into my front room to pray over our ministry. As we prayed, someone mentioned that they saw angels up in my loft area. I snapped my head in that direction anxious to see angels in my own house! Alas, I didn’t see them.

Many incidences like that have me praying to see my angels. Scripture states that God has assigned angels to minister (Heb. 1:14) to each one of us. I trust what God says, yet I also want to actually see them with my own eyes. That is why I read Joshua Mills’ book.

One of the things I really appreciate about Mills’ book is the scriptural foundation. Unlike other books that I have read on angels, Mills’ book reminds us over and over again that God is the only one worthy of worship. God’s angels seek to give HIM all the glory and honor. God sends us angels to assist us in the calling He has placed on our lives.

I am looking for my angels to appear in physical form; Mills’ book reminds me that angels also appear in visions (Ezekiel 1&10; Revelation). He also reminds me that angels appear in dreams (Gen. 28; Matt. 1&2). Mills also has practical steps for recognizing and interacting with our angels. Every chapter ends with a prayer of impartation. And he has activation exercises at the end of the book to practice seeing angels.

The testimonies that Mills shares (his own and others) about seeing and interacting with angels encourage and equip the body of Christ to participate with angels on a daily basis. I encourage you to read it and be inspired!
