“. . . (Moses) believed God, the One Who brings the dead to life and calls those things that are not as though they are and they come into being.” Rom 4:17 One New Man Bible
Based on this scripture in Romans, I’ve encouraged people to “confess” their healing. Speak the spiritual truth so that it becomes a physical reality. Today, I have just noticed for the first time evidence of this in the ministry of Jesus!
The woman with the issue of blood who touched the hem of His garment in Luke 8 was healed “as she spoke.” She had to stand before Jesus and “confess” her healing in order for it to manifest. Jesus Himself said, “Daughter, be of good cheer, your faith has made you well. Go in peace.” (Luke 8:48)
Jesus called the woman who was not healed as though she were and it came into being. And her faith, her “confession,” was part of that healing.
So go ahead! Confess your healing, even if it is not, as though it were. Because in doing so your faith will heal you.
I know it seems backwards. But your healing IS a spiritual truth. Jesus purchased your healing at the cross; “by His stripes we are healed.” (Is 53:7) Faith is required to bring the spiritual truth into a physical reality. The definition of faith is “being confident of things hoped for, proof of things not seen.” (Heb. 11:1) If you have to see it to believe it, then it is NOT faith!
So go ahead, Speak it out! Confess your healing with confidence! Then go in peace because your faith has made you well!
